AWEKAS Configuration

If you wish to upload your weather data to AWEKAS, you will need to establish a personal weather station account with AWEKAS. See http://www.awekas.at/ for signup information.

To properly configure WUHU, you must enter your Station ID and Password (issued by AWEKAS).

If you do not wish to upload to the Automatic Weather Map System (AWEKAS) servers, leave the AWEKAS Weather ID field blank.

When reporting weather conditions to AWEKAS, you must use the 'Observation' button to enter Metar data.

For Metar Sky conditions, the following translations occur:

0  = No Warning         = All Metar data has expired. No reports or remarks are active.

1  = Clear              = Metar Cloud Conditions ("SKC")

2  = Sunny Sky          = No translation.

3  = Partly Cloud       = Metar Cloud Conditions ("FEW")

4  = Cloudy             = Metar Cloud Conditions ("SCT")

5  = Heavy Clouds       = Metar Cloud Conditions ("BKN")

6  = Overcast Sky       = Metar Cloud Conditions ("OVC")

7  = Fog                = Metar Weather Conditions ("FG")

8  = Rain Shower        = Metar Weather Conditions ("SHRA")

9  = Heavy Rain Shower  = Metar Weather Conditions ("+SHRA")

10 = Light Rain         = Metar Weather Conditions ("-RA")

11 = Rain               = Metar Weather Conditions ("RA")

12 = Heavy Rain         = Metar Weather Conditions ("+RA")

13 = Light Snow         = Metar Weather Conditions ("-SN")

14 = Snow               = Metar Weather Conditions ("SN")

15 = Light Snow Shower  = Metar Weather Conditions ("-SHSN")

16 = Snow Shower        = Metar Weather Conditions ("SHSN")

17 = Sleet              = Metar Weather Conditions ("RASN")

18 = Hail               = Metar Weather Conditions ("GR")

19 = Thunderstorm       = Metar Weather Conditions ("TS")

20 = Storm              = Metar Weather Conditions ("-TS")

21 = Freezing Rain      = Metar Weather Conditions ("FZRA")

22 = Warning            = Metar Remarks for either Cloud Conditions or Weather Conditions are reported as Warnings.

23 = Drizzle            = Metar Weather Conditions ("DZ")

24 = Heavy Snow         = Metar Weather Conditions ("+SN")

24 = Heavy Snow Shower  = Metar Weather Conditions ("+SHSN")
